How to Donate

Donations are accepted via cash, check, and credit card.
Your United Way investment, combined with countless of other caring donors, is allocated to address the health and human service needs of people in our local community. These activities include analyzing community needs, investing in social service agency programs, providing emergency relief in times of disaster, building awareness of important issues, raising financial and volunteer support, creating partnerships and developing programs to fill social service gaps, and advocating for policy change. Fox Valley United Way is dedicated to this community and will work towards providing services to meet the critical health and human service needs in the community.

As little as $1/week can make a difference! We are fighting the problems of the cost of living and it does not get any easier.

You can help by making a donation by sending us a check to our office at Fox Valley United Way, 44 East Galena Blvd., Aurora, IL 60505.  You can also pay online through PayPal.

Jenette and Julian have requested that, in lieu of wedding gifts, guests and well-wishers support the community that the couple calls home by donating to the Sturges Vargas Community Fund, benefiting the Aurora community through the Fox Valley United Way

Your donation is designated to focus around around the three United Way community investment areas - Education, Income and Health.

Strong, Prepared And Ready for Kindergarten - Aurora Early Childhood Collaboration. SPARK is an Aurora Initiative that brings together community leaders, the City of Aurora, local school districts, early childhood programs, and community agencies to work collaboratively to build an early childhood system that will ultimately improve outcomes for Aurora's children. With the commitment to improve outcomes for Aurora’s young children, the Dunham Fund is providing the start-up funding through a two-year challenge grant. For every dollar raised, the Dunham Fund will match those donations for up to $250,000.

Now more than ever our local food pantries are being affected by the overwhelming rise of the number of individuals and families, in need of assistance. This growth has increased by over 300%!  With your contribution, we can help our neighbors provide for their families. Please donate now to help support the Feed the Hungry Initiative to support our local food pantries. Your $1.00 donation will help to purchase $6.00 worth of food for the pantries.

While countless parents are telling their children that there will not be many gifts under the tree this year, a large number of children in our community will not be receiving any presents. That is, unless we do something to help!  The Fox Valley United Way wants to help those families in need, who do not have the financial means to provide gifts for their children this year.  You can help by donating to the Fox Valley United Way Holiday Assistance fund.  Your money will be used to purchase clothes, toys, hats, mittens and scarves for the children.  If donations allow, we will also buy each family a gift card to a local grocery store, so they can enjoy a family holiday meal!
